Terms of Service

  1. What Q-Bill is. Q-Bill is billing software provided by Swarupa Labs (swarupalabs.com). It runs on your devices and syncs to our server. Billing works even without internet; sync, extra counters and the owner dashboard need connectivity.
  2. Your data is yours. Everything you enter — items, customers, bills — belongs to your business. You can download a full backup anytime from Settings. If you stop using Q-Bill, ask us and we will hand over your data and delete it from our server.
  3. Subscription. Access is activated by us and may carry an expiry date. On expiry, billing continues on your existing devices, but sync, additional counters and the dashboard pause until renewal. We will never delete your data for non-payment.
  4. Your responsibilities. Keep your join code and PINs private. Verify the GST details you configure (rates, GSTIN) — invoices are generated from what you enter. Download a backup weekly.
  5. Service level. We aim to keep the sync server available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Because Q-Bill is offline-first, server downtime does not stop you from billing.
  6. Liability. Q-Bill is provided as-is. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 3 months. You remain responsible for your statutory filings.

Privacy Policy

  1. What we store: your business profile, catalog, customers and bills — on our server (hosted on Fly.io, Singapore region) solely to provide sync, backups and your dashboard. Continuous encrypted backups are kept for about 10 days.
  2. What we never do: sell your data, share it with anyone except as required by law, or use your customers' details for anything.
  3. Who can see it: you (via your devices, join code and dashboard link) and we (the operator, for support). Protect your links and codes.
  4. Deletion: on written request, we permanently delete your business from server and backups within 30 days.
